| A. | Validated UPI Handle Details |
Going forward, investors are requested to make UPI payments to us only through our new validated UPI ID: dv.ia@validhdfc
This UPI ID is mapped to our verified bank account and has been created under the SEBI-mandated framework to enhance safety of investor payments in the securities market.

| B. | How this helps you |
- Payments are routed only to SEBI-registered intermediaries using validated UPI IDs.
- The UPI confirmation screen and QR code will display a white thumbs-up icon inside a green triangle, indicating that the payment is being made to a verified market intermediary.
- The UPI ID will clearly show our name and a short abbreviation of our intermediary category, followed by the exclusive “valid” handle and bank name.

| C. | Use “SEBI Check” to verify before paying |
SEBI is introducing a “SEBI Check” functionality to help investors independently verify UPI IDs and bank account details of intermediaries before making any payment.
- You will be able to verify our UPI ID by scanning a QR code or entering the UPI ID on “SEBI Check”.
- The tool will also allow you to confirm our bank account number and IFSC as recorded with SEBI.

| D. | Where to find our new UPI details |
- Our new UPI ID and QR code are displayed on this page (see section F below).
- The QR code carries the white thumbs-up icon in a green triangle and displays the UPI ID just below the code.
- The same details will be used in our e-mail, SMS and other communications relating to payments.

| E. | What you should do |
- For all new payments via UPI, please use only the new validated UPI ID mentioned above.
- In case you notice that the thumbs-up icon or the “valid” handle is missing, please re-check the UPI ID and refrain from proceeding with the payment.
For any clarification on the new payment handle or the “SEBI Check” functionality, you may contact us at clients@dvia.in or 8591426656.

Key Points
- Using the validated UPI handle is optional. You may still pay through UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, or Cheque.
- Please use only our new UPI ID for payments once older handles are discontinued as per regulatory timelines.
- For ongoing SIPs in Mutual Funds, existing mandates will continue until renewal.

| G. | Investor FAQs |
For more details on UPI handles, security tips, transaction limits, and other investor queries, please refer to the FAQ below on Adoption of Standardized, Validated and Exclusive UPI IDs for Payment.
Is it compulsory for the investors to use the new handle only?
Investors can choose their preferred mode of payment, including UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, or Cheques. If an investor opts to use UPI for the payment to registered intermediaries, then they have to do so only using the new UPI IDs allotted to registered intermediaries.
What should I check while making a payment using the new UPI IDs / QR Code?
Investors need to keep the following things into consideration:
- The UPI ID should properly show the name of the intermediary, followed by the short abbreviation of their category, for example, “brk” for Brokers, “mf” for Mutual Funds, to the left of the “@” character.
- On the right side of the “@”, the new and exclusive handle “@valid” should be present, followed by the bank name.
- On the confirmation screen, the app should show a white thumbs-up icon inside a green triangle.
- The QR code generated using the utility will have a white thumbs-up icon inside a green triangle. It will also display the UPI ID just below the QR code.
Do investors also need to obtain new UPI handles to transact in the securities market?
No, the new UPI IDs are only for intermediaries to obtain and investors can continue to use their existing UPI IDs.
Whom to approach if my transaction / payment fails with the new UPI ID?
The secure, validated UPI ID of intermediaries will use the same banking channel as the earlier generic UPI handles. In case of any technical difficulty, investors are requested to approach their respective banks.
Is the UPI facility available for NRI investors?
No, the UPI ID framework applies only to the Domestic PMS pool account.
Can UPI be used for all types of transactions?
UPI transfers are advisable only for Top-Ups. Initial Investments should continue through the existing payment modes such as NEFT, RTGS, or cheque.
What are the requirements after transferring funds via UPI?
After completing the UPI transfer, investors are required to share their bank statement along with the Top-Up form as part of the documentation process at clients@dvia.in.
When will the funds be available for utilization?
Funds will be available for utilization by the Fund Managers on a T+1 basis, subject to the successful completion of the transaction and receipt / validation of the required documentation.
